The trip included a stop off at the casino, where the 73-year-old lady spent her last $20 playing the “Wheel of Fortune” slot machine, and she ended up by taking down the incredible $974,133 Jackpot! The Wheel of Fortune progressive machine is one of the most popular slots in casinos today.

According to Online Poker News, the 73-year-old woman and her sister ended up missing their bus back home as they stayed a few hours longer to collect the winnings. But that was not a problem for the two women thanks to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino which arranged and even paid for a limo ride to take them back to Gainesville.

“You know what. I’m thrilled, but this won’t change anything. I will be at work tomorrow, and I will make sure I put the money to good use,” said the woman who is still working as a private nurse and she has no intentions of quitting her job.
